Queen’s Inclosure Primary School

It has been wonderful to welcome back all our children returning to QI for the autumn term, many after an unusually long time away - and also to welcome those children joining us for their first exciting year in formal education.  While we have not quite yet returned to ‘normal’ routine, it is business as usual in the classroom, and we are all really looking forward to the year ahead.

In line with Department for Education expectations, we are creating time to cover the most important missed content before returning to the school’s normal curriculum.  Any concerns should be reported to your child’s class teacher; we are always here to listen and offer assistance.  We are also aware that some families may have suffered financial hardship and/or bereavement.  Please do let us know of anything you feel we need to be aware of to enable us to best support your child.

We hope for a thoroughly enjoyable – and less eventful – year ahead.

The Ofsted Report of May 2018 observed:

The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.  Together with senior leaders and governors, you have a very clear vision for the school of enabling pupils to achieve well and become happy, responsible people.

The report also noted that:

You have rightly placed the well-being of pupils at the heart of the school so there is a strong culture of safeguarding that staff and pupils embrace.
