Pupil Premium

In April 2011 the Government launched its Pupil Premium funding, a grant allocated to schools in addition to main school funding. The Pupil Premium is allocated to local authorities and schools based on the number of pupils on roll who are known to have been eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) at any time in the previous six years. Each of these pupils will attract a specific amount of funding. We also receive a small amount of funding for pupils of Service families. Please inform the school if one parent is in the services or has been in the last 3 years. Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium in any way they think will support raising the attainment for the most vulnerable pupils.
