We are delighted to offer before-school childcare each weekday for £3.50 per child, per session. While this provision does not include breakfast, parents are welcome to provide a breakfast snack such as a cereal bar, croissant, or piece of fruit. Children are grouped by year: Year F, Years 1–2, Years 3–4, and Years 5–6.

Children arrive at 7:45 a.m. and are signed in at the hall, where they can take part in a variety of activities. At 8:30 a.m., they are escorted to their classrooms by EdActive staff, all of whom are fully qualified and hold Enhanced DBS certification.

Queen’s Inclosure Primary School coordinates all bookings and payments for the Before School Club through Arbor. Please note that we are unable to accept childcare vouchers as we are not registered as a childcare provider.

At the end of the school day, parents may choose to send their child to an after-school care provider—Active8 Minds, in partnership with Springwood Infant School.

Active8 Minds staff will be on-site at Queen’s Inclosure Primary School by 3:20 p.m. to coordinate end-of-day collection. Children will then be transported to Springwood Infant School via QI minibus, accompanied by Active8 Minds staff. Upon arrival, they can take part in a variety of structured activities and will be given light refreshments. 

Queen’s Inclosure Primary School accepts responsibility for children waiting to be collected until 3:30 p.m. After this time, responsibility transfers to the after-school care provider.
