Following the sad news about the death of our Queen Elizabeth II, we have been talking to the children about the Queen's life.  We shared photographs and facts about her and the children each had a corgi to decorate or write a message on about the Queen, which we are displaying in our library.  We also watched the 96 Gun Salutes at 1 o'clock across the whole school, which was quite moving.  We remembered the things we enjoyed when it was the Jubilee.  We send our condolences to everyone affected by her death and especially the Royal family and our new King.
