Year 3 Dodgeball Festival

14 children from year 3 participated in a Dodgeball festival. They took part in various fun warm-up games related to the sport, including ‘messy bedroom’ and ‘run the gauntlett’. They were then divided into two teams and competed in a mini tournament against 8 other teams. The children thoroughly enjoyed their Dodgeball afternoon. 


Year 5/6 Hampshire Boys Plate Semi-Final

Our Year 5/6 boys’ football team put in a determined and spirited performance in their Hampshire Boys Plate semi-final but unfortunately fell short against a strong Harrison Primary side.

The team competed well for the majority of the game, showing great resilience, teamwork, and effort throughout. Despite the result, they never gave up and continued to battle until the final whistle.

A huge well done to the squad for their fantastic journey in the competition and for representing the school with pride and determination.


 

Year 3&4 Girls Football Festival

10 girls from Year 3&4 recently took part in a football festival, where they developed their skills through a series of dribbling, passing, and shooting stations before putting their learning into practice in small-sided games.

The girls showed fantastic enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork throughout the event. More importantly, they embraced the experience with smiles on their faces and represented the school as wonderful role models.


Year 3 Tennis Festival

Our Year 3 pupils recently took part in a tennis festival, where they rotated through a series of stations designed to develop their hand-eye coordination and striking skills.

Using a variety of equipment, the children embraced each challenge, improving their technique and confidence. Along the way, they scored several points and even achieved the top score in the target event!  A fantastic effort from all involved! 


Year 6 Swimming Gala

Six Year 6 swimmers competed against other local schools in a swimming gala, taking part in various individual and relay races. They supported their team with enthusiasm and also demonstrated empathy and kindness towards other teams taking part. Their superb effort earned them an impressive second-place finish overall.


Year 5/6 Rugby Competition

A team of 10 Year 5/6 pupils recently took part in the Cluster Rugby Competition, competing against local schools in a series of exciting matches.

The team demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and determination, putting in strong performances throughout the event. They secured several victories and showed great sportsmanship in every game. Most importantly, everyone had fun and gave their best effort, representing the school with pride.
