Declaration of Interest required by 15th January 2026
We have provisionally booked a three-day, two-night residential trip to Marchants Hill from Wednesday 23rd to Friday 25th June 2027.
Marchants Hill is a secure, high-quality venue with a well-organised dining facility offering a wide range of menu options to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements. The QI group will be allocated rooms within one accommodation block, which will also include the QI staff accommodation. QI staff will provide 24-hour supervision throughout the visit.
Children will stay in rooms with bunk beds sleeping up to six children, each with an en-suite shower and toilet. During the residential, children will take part in adventurous daytime and evening activities, all led by qualified PGL instructors.
As a returning customer, we have secured a 13% discount. The cost to parents/carers for board and lodging is £218 per child. The school will cover the cost of all activities, coach transport, and accompanying QI staff.
A minimum of 30 children is required for the school to commit to running the residential. If this number is reached, we will request a non-refundable deposit of £28 to be paid between 16th January and 6th February 2026 (via Arbor) to secure your child’s place.
The remaining balance can be paid as a one off or in instalments between 1st September 2026 and 31st March 2027

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION INFORMATION:
Please be aware of PGL's Cancellation Policy as Parents/Carers will be required to pay the following percentage of the total amount dependant on the number of days given:
Before 15 July 2026 - 18% = £39.24
After 15 July 2026 and 57 days before arrival date - 43% = £93.74
56-29 days before arrival date - 60% = £130.80
28 - 15 days before arrival date - 80% = £174.40
14 days or less before arrival date - 100% = £218.00
Please note that the cancellation charges are dictated by PGL and that the school will also incur cancellation charges at the same percentages on it's share of the costs for activities, coach and staffing which we do not charge to the parents.
We will communicate the outcome of the Declaration of Interest via an Arbor in-app message to parents by 31 January 2026. If we receive expressions of interest from 30 or more children, we will activate the payment plan on the same date.
