Our partnership with parents is very important to us, and we know that working closely with parents helps our children to thrive. As part of this partnership, we welcome the opportunity to share children’s learning and progress with parents through Parent Consultations. This term, our Parent Consultations will be on Thursday 16th, Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd October 2025. The purpose of this consultation is to discuss your child’s start to the year with their class teacher and to share their current learning targets.
We encourage parents to engage in this. However, we ask that parents accept appointments within the days and times advertised and do not request alternative appointments. Unless in exceptional circumstances, we are only able to offer one appointment per child.
We are offering a choice of telephone or face-to-face consultations:
• A telephone consultation (for up to 10 minutes) – we would allocate an hour within which we would call you. We would always ring you back if our first call was not answered.
• A face-to-face consultation (for up to 10 minutes) — parents will need to wait outdoors, by their child’s classroom, until invited in by the class teacher. Any children attending must stay with their parent(s) at all times.
If you do not need a consultation before half-term, you are welcome to contact the class teacher — at any time – via our Contact Us facility on our website or your child’s Year Group email.
Please indicate which date, time, and consultation preference would be most convenient for you and submit your request by Monday 6th October at the latest. It would be most helpful if you could indicate more than one time window; we will do our best to offer brother and sister appointments close together, but cannot guarantee this. Your appointment time will be sent to you, via in-app message, by Monday 13th October.
