Dear Year 6 Parents and Carers,
To celebrate the end of SATs, we are excited to invite Year 6 pupils to a special celebration on Thursday 15th May, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
We have a fun-filled event planned, with a variety of activities taking place outdoors—weather permitting. If it's wet, we’ll move the fun inside to the school hall. There will be plenty of food provided, and—just maybe—a classic end-of-SATs water fight! (If your child is feeling brave, they are welcome to bring a small, pre-filled water pistol.)
Children should come dressed in casual clothes (jeans are fine), with suitable footwear for outdoor play and a jacket if it’s chilly. If they plan to join in the water fight, please ensure their shoes have good grip to avoid slips. Please remember that mobile phones are not allowed at the event.
Children should arrive at the Year 6 classroom doors at 4:30pm and must be collected promptly at 6:00pm from the school playground. To ensure a smooth and safe pick-up, we kindly ask parents to collect their child in person rather than waiting in a car. You might want to bring a towel—your child could end up quite wet!
If your child would like to join the celebration, please complete this form giving permission along with £4.00 via School Money by Friday 9th May. This will contribute towards the cost of food and drinks, including Domino’s pizza, donuts, and ice lollies. We’ll be asking the children for their preferred pizza choices before placing the order.
We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with the children
